How to turn soul destroying frustration into kick-arse 'feel to heal"

You know those days when you get so frustrated that you clench your teeth, shut your mouth, but take it out on the spouse and kids when you get home?

They are shit days and it's actually not okay to take your moods out on your family.

It is okay to recognise you are mega frustrated though, because that is the first step to dealing with it.

When you catch yourself feeling frustrated, before serving it up to the ones you love the most, serve it back to where it belongs.

I have a little mind mantra: "I'm sorry. This does not fit my vision. Return to sender".

I then conjure up my vision and replace my frustration with the peace, serenity and excitement that my vision produces.

But here's the thing: it's probably too hard for you to do because it only works for people who are prepared to change their way of thinking and behaving.

This is a skill that takes practice.

Step 1 is recognising your frustration or anger. The body has clues, learn what yours are. You cannot heal until you first feel - so feel it, know it, label it (we also use #labeltostable).

Step 2 is being able to quickly replace your negative thoughts with a positive mind mantra: "I'm sorry. This does not fit my vision. Return to sender".

Step 3 is to concentrate on your vision and the positive feelings around it until you can again deal with the presenting issues without turning into an ugly old troll under the bridge!

Step 4 is to repeat this process every time you need to kick those butt ugly killer feelings to kingdom come.
